What happens at Mara's wine tastings?
At Mara, our laid-back wine tastings are designed for a social experience. Each session begins with a brief introduction, information about the glass you're about to drink followed by plenty of time to sip, enjoy, and discuss with your friends. Whether you're a seasoned enthusiast or new to wine, our relaxed approach makes it easy to explore new flavours.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes! Our monthly wine tastings are popular and have limited tickets available, so make sure you grab your tickets ahead of the event. If tickets are sold out, then please do email us and we will add you to the waitlist for any cancellations.

Is food included or available?
Food is included in many of our wine events; these tend to be nibbles to bring out the flavour of the wine. Our entire food menu is also available to order before, during and after your tasting including our charcuterie options for sharing.
Do the events cater to allergies and dietary requirements?
Yes - please let us know when booking your ticket what your dietary requirements are and we can accommodate you. If you are uneasy, then please do contact us before booking your tickets and we can advise you on what we can cook for you.
How much does a wine tasting cost?
Our wine tastings typically cost between £35-45 per person, which includes a curation of hand-selected wine and paired dishes from our kitchen. Prices may vary depending on the theme of the tasting.
What kinds of wines will I get to try?
Each tasting is unique! Every event has a theme to showcase exciting wines. Check the event page that you're interested in for more information.
Where are the wine tastings held?
Our tastings take place at the back of our stylish restaurant in the raised area.
Can I buy a bottle to take home?
Yes, we often have spare bottles that you are able to buy to enjoy at home or with us at the end of the event. Your host will also have order forms should you wish to order any for home delivery to save you carrying it home.
